Title: Thrustmaster Warthog Maintenance and O-ring replacement
Post by: Pand on April 09, 2015, 09:22:49 AM
So you just bought a Warthog.   It's by far the best stick ever; however, ensure you're ready to maintain it as it will become your pride and glory.

1.  Purchase a PTFE O-Ring from this guy.  Just email him and ask him if it's still available and where to send paypal payment.  I bought two and received within a week.

Jonah/Hempstead,

Thank you so much for providing this service, my 2nd ring from Thrustmaster is completely worn out.

I would like to purchase:

2 PTFE O-rings (the thicker one you mentioned on warthog world).  I understand they are $8 per ring totaling $16.  Please let me know how to make payment--- if you will accept PayPal, or need me to send a check.

My shipping information:

2.  Buy some Lube!   I lube my warthog roughly every quarter. I snagged a 4oz off ebay.
Synthetic Polyolefin (PAO) Lubricant / Grease | M-kote EM-30L | NLGI #1 | Dist. by PP&S (http://www.ebay.com/itm/DOW-MOLYKOTE-EM-30L-Synthetic-Grease-Electronics-Audio/280646126932?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20131003132420%26meid%3D3a8b4d11cf4a4535a91f449f967540b5%26pid%3D100005%26prg%3D20131003132420%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D270666662674&rt=nc)

3.  Run the attached configuration tool for your stick/throttle where you have moved the Hall Effect Sensors.
