So you want to be a TWB member, that awesome.

It is highly recommended that you join our TeamSpeak server (ts3.thewetbandits.org) set your PTT key, hangout and get to know the TWB members before applying.

When applying use the following Template.

In game name:
What other squadrons have you been a part of (if any)?:
Are you over 18?:
What other flight simulator games do you fly?:
How often do you play?:
Tell us why you want to be a TWB member:

Here are some things we look for in a future potential TWB member.  These are not all required, but help your chances of becoming a member.

1.You have IL2:BOS, IL2:BOM AND/OR IL-2:BOK.

2. Team play, if you are a lone wolf.....you are better off somewhere else.

3.Strive on being some of the best of the best.  Always look to improve, not as just a individual but as a unit as well.

4. If you are going to be a sad panda or a Debbie downer, expect to get ridiculed until your morale improves. It is every squad member’s duty to ensure that NOTHING is left to fester.

5. Read the charter (snipped sample in no.4)

6. Competent flying skills, we are not here to take on new flyers.  We expect you to already understand the basics, if not...we expect you to learn them (if you can show self improvement by going out and learning things on your own accord, that shows a testament to your focus and determination).

All the great ones leave there mark, we are The Wet Bandits

Accepted pending recruitment period.

It is also my understanding that you are required to send Dillon at least one picture of your butthole as a membership requirement.

Hey whats up?

Yeah most the action takes place on WoL and -DED- as a backup. Stop by the TS! Friday and Saturday nights are usually pretty hot.

Our membership application status is currently closed at the moment.......We generally do not make exceptions to the 18+ rule and personally I'm not aware of any applicant under 18 being accepted.

Hello again The_Ashkenazi_Express

Our membership application status is currently closed at the moment. We are in the process of refining our IL2 Division and the War Thunder division active roster is pretty fluid at the moment. We generally do not make exceptions to the 18+ rule and personally I'm not aware of any applicant under 18 being accepted. First thing about TWB is that we do not accept applicants by monarchy. Decisions for acceptance depends on all members willing to give feedback. That being said, there is nothing stopping you from downloading TeamSpeak and joining the TWB teamspeak server @ ts3.thewetbandits.org. You say that you are mature? That will be quickly decided by your conduct there as misconduct and disruptions are usually dealt with quickly and sometimes without warning. Please read our charter located at http://www.thewetbandits.org/ and read the rules that will display in the server log at the bottom in green when you join the teamspeak server. Happy hunting!

Thanks for registering on the forums and asking an interesting question.

A common theme, whether correct or not, is that it is frowned upon for Russian based companies to release anything that may not put Russia in the best light. This would go for any industry, not just video game entertainment. Now this may just be national pride or a figment of everyone's imagination. What is known is that it is a useless en devour to pursue these claims regardless of their validity. I cannot prove nor disprove any 'Russian Bias' only balance issues that appear in every nation in the War Thunder tech trees.  So what are your thought on the matter?

As for your question in the shoutbox; It is true that the War Thunder division is not actively recruiting but do not let that prevent you from visiting our teamspeak server if not just to say hi.
